How to measure

Measure at 3 to 5 heightsWalls aren’t always square, but our cabinets are. Measure the width at 3 to 5 heights to check the walls are plumb, and use the smallest measurement.

From the skirting boardMeasure from skirting boards or any intrusions (the most protruding feature or structure).

At the wall and at cabinet depthTake these measurements against the back wall, and again about 410 mm out (or the depth you choose for your design). Side walls may not be straight, or at 90° to the back wall. The space can be out of square up and down and front to back: always use the smallest width you find.

Allow 15 mmThe total width of your wallbed and cabinets must be at least 15 mm less than your narrowest measurement. For example, a 3000 mm design needs at least 3015 mm of space. Designs that don’t fit are flagged automatically.

Custom sizes: we will confirm with the manufacturer and contact you if we need to make any small adjustments to allow manufacturing to proceed. Sometimes widths nearer the upper adjustment limits are not able to be produced.

    Every Alpha wallbed is made to order in your colours. Vertical is the traditional orientation, with the head of the bed to the wall; horizontal has the long side of the bed to the wall and suits lower ceilings.
