A queen murphy bed for rooms with a low ceiling or a window.

The Alpha Horizontal Queen has a side to wall orientation – long side of the bed to the wall – and folds down from a cabinet just 1721 mm high, so it fits under a window, a sloping ceiling or wall-mounted shelves. It takes a standard queen mattress (153 × 203 cm) up to 30 cm thick, and when open it reaches only 1791 mm into the room.

      • Closed: 1721 mm high × 2155 mm wide × 410 mm deep
      • Open: reaches 1791 mm from the wall
      • Colours: made to order in 21 colours, in one colour or two
      • Desk option: add a fold-down desk (+$515)
      • Storage: add side cabinets or bookcases on either side

Prices start at $2,675, the same as the vertical queen. Mattress, side cabinets, delivery, assembly and installation are extra. Not sure which way to go? Read vertical vs horizontal wall beds or compare the vertical queen.

Mattress and side cabinets sold separately.

      • Built to last. Made from high-quality MDF.
      • Comfortable. With the right mattress, as comfortable as a traditional bed.
