A queen wall bed that folds away into a 410 mm deep cabinet.

The Alpha Vertical Queen is a queen-size murphy bed that has the traditional orientation – head of the bed to the wall – and folds down from a tall cabinet. It takes a standard queen mattress (153 × 203 cm) up to 30 cm thick, so guests sleep on a proper bed, not a fold-out one. During the day the room goes back to being a study, gym or living space.

• Closed: 2215 mm high × 1658 mm wide × 410 mm deep
• Open: reaches 2285 mm from the wall
• Colours: made to order in 21 colours, in one colour or two
• Desk option: add a fold-down desk that stays level as the bed comes down (+$515)
• Storage: add side cabinets or bookcases (446 mm wide for queen) on either side

Prices start at $2,675 in the Modern colours. Mattress, side cabinets, delivery (from $450) and assembly & installation ($600, or $760 with a desk) are extra. See the queen wall bed sizes, or compare it with the horizontal queen, which suits lower ceilings.

Try it in our Gladesville showroom, open 7 days. Mattress and side cabinets sold separately.
